A recent study published at European Parliament shows a comprehensive list of artificial intelligence (AI) examples on how to leverage this technology to fight coronavirus. The international community is currently focused on the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, first identified in Wuhan, China. Due to this pandemic reality, international organizations and scientists are using AI to track it real-time, to effectively predict where the virus might appear next, and develop an effective response.

According with the World Health Organization (WHO) coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). The novel coronavirus (nCoV), as a new strain that has not been previously identified in humans, causes coronavirus disease COVID-19.

Belonging to the European Union matters! Union of 27

The United Kingdom is finally out of the European Union partnership, since January 31, 2020, at midnight (Brussels time). This follows the ratification of the Withdrawal Agreement of the previous week by both the European Parliament and Council. Half a century of the United Kingdom’s membership of the European Union is over. The Union of 27 just started!
