McDonald's CEO fired after dating employee - McDonald's has fired its chief executive, Steve Easterbrook, 52, after he had a relationship with an employee. The US fast food giant said the relationship was consensual, but Mr Easterbrook had "violated company policy" and shown "poor judgement".
The burger chain’s board voted Friday to terminate Easterbrook, 52, after investigating the relationship, which violated company policy, according to a statement Sunday. McDonald’s policy doesn’t allow the CEO to have a relationship with anyone in the company.
