Top Windows keyboard shortcuts to be more productive at work

If you want to be even more productive at work, you must be precise and produce fast results. To do this, in most cases, you will use machines and most importantly user interfaces such the Windows operational system distributed by Microsoft. This article will guide you to the most important Hotkeys to make your work with Windows a lot easier and quicker.


Basic shortcuts:

Ctrl + C to Copy the selected item.

Ctrl + V to Paste the selected item.

Ctrl + X to Cut the selected item.

Ctrl + D to Delete the selected item and move it to the Recycle Bin.

Ctrl + A to Select all content.

F2 to Rename selected item.

Esc to Close current task.

Shift + Delete to Delete item without moving to Recycle Bin.

Ctrl + Z to Undo an action.

Ctrl + Y to Redo an action.

Ctrl + R to Refresh the active window.

Alt + Tab to Switch between open apps.

Alt + F4 to Close an active item or an app.

Windows key + Right Arrow to Snap current window to the right.

Windows key + Left Arrow to Snap current window to the left.

Windows key + Shift + Up Arrow to Stretch the desktop window to the top and bottom of the screen.

Windows key + Shift + L or R Arrow to Move window from one monitor to another.

Windows key + PrtScr to Take a screenshot saved to pictures folder.

Windows key + P to Switch between display modes with additional display connected.
