Το έργο επί της ιδιωτικοποίησης της εμπορίας μασκών συνεχίζεται. Πρέπει να είναι ξεκάθαρο ότι δεν υπάρχει πρόβλημα με το γεγονός ότι μία ιδιωτική εταιρία κατασκευάζει μάσκες, ενώ το ότι δημιουργήθηκε μία υπερσύγχρονη παραγωγική μονάδα σε λιγότερο από 25 ημέρες αποτελεί πρότυπο αναφοράς στον κόσμο των επιχειρήσεων. Όμως, υπάρχει πρόβλημα όταν μία κυβέρνηση στηρίζει τόσο έντονα μία ιδιωτική πρωτοβουλία, ενώ ταυτόχρονα επιβάλλει μέτρα επιβολής αγοράς του αγαθού λόγω της πανδημίας.

Η κυβέρνηση και ο τουρισμός πρέπει να επιλέξουν
Είναι ένα ζήτημα που αφορά όλους μας, και γενικά κάθε χώρα σε συνθήκες πανδημίας. Το δίλλημα είναι σαφές. Θέλει ο τουριστικός κλάδος να γεμίσει με εκατομμύρια τουρίστες που πιθανώς να φέρουν το κοροναϊό στις αποσκευές τους, ή μήπως να κρατήσουμε τα σύνορα ανοιχτά μόνο για τις αναγκαστικές περιπτώσεις, και να κινηθεί ελεύθερα μονάχα ο εσωτερικός τουρισμός;

Primary income in the EU before COVID-19 and the future
According with the latest news release by Eurostat, the primary income per inhabitant in the European Union (EU) was 18,800 euros. Across EU NUTS 2 (Nomenclature of territorial units for statistics) regions, it ranged from 37,900 euros per inhabitant in Luxemburg to only 2,500 euros in Severozapaden (Bulgaria).
